Founders4Schools

We’re delighted to have partnered with Founders4Schools to celebrate International Women's Day 2019, by producing a publication highlighting inspiring women who are leading some of Britain’s fastest-growing businesses.

Founders4Schools, founded by Sherry Coutu, are an ed-tech charity that invites business leaders into schools to unlock the employability of young people.

The stories featured in this publication come from women of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and academic disciplines, however, one thing they do have in common is passion. Whether it’s passion to drive a change, to defy the odds, to prove themselves – this, combined with perseverance and resilience has created and refreshed the ethos of many companies across the nation.

With over 18 stories, this year’s publication really demonstrates the wealth of talent and diverse approaches of women in the UK. Each individual story has something for everyone and there is a lot we can take away from these stories and implement in our lives to inspire and encourage generations to come. Life has never moved at such a fast pace as it does right now.

By sharing experiences, be they challenges or successes, we aim to give every reader the opportunity to ask the right questions and make the right decisions. Together we are more.

The publication was officially launched at the London Stock Exchange on 8th March 2019 during a special event in celebration of International Women’s Day, hosted by Founders4Schools and London & Partners, in association with EY.

The event was designed to celebrate women who are leading business growth. With an aim to inspire and support female founders and CEOs who are at an early stage of their scale up journey, by offering guidance and insights from a host of extraordinary women – advisors, mentors and entrepreneurs - who have already grown businesses successfully.
