What does a successful DE&I practice look like?

Angel Perez is a disability, accessibility and AT Specialist . Angel has led projects to promote inclusive practice in large programmes and organisations, engaging individuals with disabilities to access education, employment and digital services in the UK and internationally, specifically by testing, implementing, and improving inclusive and accessible technologies. Angel is the Director of Asamper Inclusion, a consultancy firm helping organisation become more diverse, inclusive and accessible. Angel is also a Technical Advisor on Assistive Technology for the AT scale Partnership under UNOPS. AT scale aims to ensure every person can access and afford the AT they need, enabling a lifetime of potential. Angel's academic background is in sociology technology, where he specialised in how diverse and disadvantaged social groups engage with new technologies and their relationship between agency, identity and technology.

Gaia Caruso, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Sparta Global. She has been named one of Most Influential Culture Leaders by Hive Learning, one of the Top Inspirational Corporate Women by We Are The City, and a Winner of the Women in Tech Excellence Awards. Over the past 6.5 years, she has led Sparta Global’s Social Impact agenda, supporting the company’s growth and establishing its influence in the ED&I space. With extensive experience in the technology sector and a background from the LSE and Bayes Business School, Gaia has delivered advisory programmes to private and public organisations as part of her role and has presented to industry audiences in over 40 countries.
