Flexible working: Making work, work for you

Join us on 27th June, where #YouEqualTech is teaming up with LinkedIn to talk about why greater flexibility in the workplace can lead to greater diversity. Flexible working is about empowering people to work when and where they want, giving access to new talent pools and giving better balance to our lives.

As ‘flexible working’ is becoming increasingly common in many sectors and roles, we explore how you can adapt your working hours to suit your requirements and lifestyle (making work work for you!) Our speakers will share how working flexibly can improve staff motivation, retention, productivity and diversity.

As always, you can expect plenty of actionable advice, tips and interesting facts from our speakers.

We'll be joined by:

Harvir is the Founder of Doyenne, an online platform set up to address gender inequality in the workplace. Doyenne connects women interested in progressing their careers with progressive employers looking for experienced and diverse talent.

Prior to founding Doyenne, Harvir worked at UBS in Corporate Social Responsibility focusing on social entrepreneurship and social mobility. She formerly worked in political consultancy, supporting politicians, government departments and philanthropists with policy and communications campaigns in areas as diverse as climate change, maternal health and open data.
