This month, our incredible speakers will be sharing their experiences as we explore who we are as complicated, whole and evolving human beings - and the impact of staying true to our values.

Whether you’re working in tech already, or thinking of making the leap - this event is about coming together to learn from others in this space - and to meet new people who can support and champion you in your career.

Our industry experts will focus on sharing actionable advice, learned through their own experience.

We'll be joined by:

Andy Ayim, Managing Director at Backstage Capital (London Accelerator)

Andy was named in the FT last year as one of the top 10 most influential BAME tech leaders in the UK. He is a proud father, Product leader and Managing Director of Backstage London, who run a 3 month accelerator programme that invests $100K and supports women, people of colour and/or LGBT founders.

Andy is also passionate about creating pathways into tech and upskilling people from low income backgrounds. He serves on the Boards of YSYS, Flipside and Mixtape Madness, a startup he co-founded with his brothers and friends and grew to over £1m in revenue without VC or angel funding.

Efua Akumanyi, Co-Founder/CTO at Furnishful

Efua is the Co-Founder and CTO of Furnishful, a shopping discovery site for furniture and homewares. She has been a software developer for over 15 years. She has worked in various sectors during her career (medical, legal, insurance, start-ups, ecommerce and charities) and founded Furnishful with her partner in 2016.

Liberty Foreman, CEO and Co-founder at DynamX Medical

Liberty graduated from the University of Sussex in 2011 in Molecular Genetics. She developed a keen interest in bioinformatics, leading her to complete her PhD in 2015 at UCL in clinical data analytics. Liberty’s research forms the basis of the core DynamX-Bx algorithm. Whilst studying, Liberty realised that research lacked efficient multi-disciplinary collaboration. In 2014 she was awarded a fellowship from the Software Sustainability Institute for her collaborative work between statisticians and clinicians.

Liberty has a passion for the law of parsimony and believes that simplicity is the key to success. As DynamX’s CEO, Liberty provides the team with the drive and enthusiasm to build great products.
