We’d love you to join us for our 6th London Women in Tech and Digital meetup, where we’ll be celebrating the success of four incredible tech entrepreneurs.
Our panel will be sharing their tips, advice and hacks, using the experience they’ve gained as founders and tech entrepreneurs.
We're delighted to be welcoming...
Emily Forbes - Founder, Seenit
Emily founded Seenit with the mission to unlock the power of the world's communities through video storytelling. Seenit today helps organisations around the world to direct, collect and create video with their own customers, employees and experts and believes in putting the people who are most passionate at the forefront. Today they're working with clients such as The BBC, BT Sport, Benefit and HSBC. Emily was also named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 and as one of Computer Weekly’s Rising Stars 2017.
Devika Wood - Co-Founder, Vida
Devika worked in digital health for 4 years, before becoming Chief Medical Officer at Vida, the healthcare company she co-founded in May 2016. During that time, Devika, who started her career as a cancer research scientist and has a Masters in public health, worked to develop two award-winning health tech start-ups in the UK – Babylon and Medefer – from the embryonic phase to industry defining companies. She then had a six month stint in Sydney at Healthcare Australia, where she came up with a solution to the problem of bank nurses on the leading recruiter’s books having a lull in work: offering companies on site flu jabs for their staff. Devika moved back to London to co-found Vida with Naushard Jabir, with whom she shares a passion to create a healthcare company which harnesses technology and invests in high quality carers to deliver personalised in-home care to the elderly.
Felicia Meyoweritz Singh – Founder & CEO, Akoni
Felicia conceived of Akoni Hub as a frustrated SME Director holding large cash balances, with very few market options. Felicia has significant experience in high-growth Financial Services businesses and start-ups operating in the UK FCA regulated environment, and has launched a number of digital market platforms. Felicia also has senior board-level experience including finance, operations, direct marketing to both SMBs and corporates, and as an FCA Approved Person / Controlled Function. Felicia is a Chartered Accountant (SA), Bcompt (Hons) Accounting and InfoSystems with an Executive MBA from London Business School (cum laude).
Zoe Peden - Founder & CEO, Iris Speaks
Zoe is the Founder and CEO of Iris Speaks enabling you to access speech and language therapy from the comfort of your own home, 7 days a week. Combining deep tech with a human touch. With the lofty ambitions of making speech and language therapy available around the world regardless of your bank balance.
